I am the new recruit at Eglinton Eyecare, having spent the last 15 years working in an International Language School and dealing with students from every corner of the globe. I have been privileged to have met some amazing people and have maintained contact with many of them.

I am a linguist and can speak 5 different languages- French, Spanish, Romanian, Irish and a little English on a good day. My only experience in Opics is the fact that I have been wearing glasses since the age of 15 and that I had Retinol Blastoma when I was 3 years old.

That aside, I am a total blank canvass and cannot wait for the new challenges that I will face over the coming weeks and months.

I moved to the village of Eglinton almost 9 years ago when my youngest son was born. I love the simplistic lifestyle, open spaces and friendly people who are extremely welcoming and always willing to lend a hand if you need it.

In my spare time, there’s not much of that, as I am mum to very active 11 year old twins and a 9 year old, I love spending as much time as possible outdoors- Muff Glen Forest, Benone Beach, Donegal and Eglinton shore are some of our favourite hang-outs.

To switch off from reality I recently started listening to audio books which is a great escape from my busy work life and my mum duties schedule!
