We’ve been working on the design of a fabulous unique resource for primary schools over the past 6 months or so. With the help of the North West Regional college, we’ve produced a 48-page interactive workbook aimed at the Primary 4 age group. The workbook features our famous teddy-bear mascots, Eg, Lin and Ton, and aims to help teach the children all about their eyes. The interactive pages literally come to life with the help of a free app that you can download onto your phone or tablet. Local schoolchildren from Broadbridge Primary School volunteered to be the voice actors for Eg, Lin and Ton on the pages that come to life. Using the app on your phone you can watch videos of the practice and the local play park.

Today marked the day where JK unveiled it to other Optometrists in other parts of the UK at one of her business mastermind groups. They were amazed with the quality and innovative ideas what went into the workbook. So much so that these independent practice owners are interested in placing orders of the workbooks for their own practices – another successful entrepreneurial idea created by Jean.
