If you’ve visited Eglinton Eyecare since April 2024, there’s a good chance we’ve already met. I joined the practice as a Dispensing Assistant, and from day one I knew I’d found somewhere special – a place where people aren’t just patients, they’re neighbours, familiar faces, and often new friends.  I brought with me over a 2 decades of experience in Customer Service, performance analysis, and people‑focused roles.

In April 2026, I was honoured to receive the SightCare “Heart of the Practice” Award, something that still feels surreal. It means the world to me because empathy is at the core of everything I do. I genuinely want people to feel happy, confident, and secure – whether that’s through finding the perfect pair of glasses or simply offering a warm conversation.

Outside work, I’m happiest when I’m walking to clear my head, enjoying good food cooked by my partner, and spending quality time with my family. I have a sister, a nephew and a great‑nephew who is just 6 months old.  The little one is the apple of my eye and he brings endless joy into our lives.

I’ve always believed that strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet, and I hope that when you walk through our door, you feel that warmth straight away. I’m here to help, to listen, and to make your experience with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
